Update on the problem: this has been effecting multiple users and the people at blogspot are looking into it. Last time there was a problem it took around 3 days to resolve so fingers crossed.
Problem fixed, but don`t expect an update for at least 24 hours. I`m away from my laptop and can`t access my stuff.
